We have a wide experience of playing at formal dinners and balls, and are very willing to fit around your timings, enabling us to provide reception music, dinner music and after dinner music.

Reception Music

Your guests will arrive to be greeted by the sounds of a string quartet playing a selection of light and classical music from our extensive and ever growing repertoire list.

Previous clients have told us that our music has set the mood for the evening, creating the required atmosphere for their guests to relax and enjoy themselves. Typically, we would be playing on a stage or to one side of the room, whilst drinks and canapés are served.

Dinner Music

Again, our repertoire list provides plenty of opportunity for a variety of musical styles during your formal dining time. Most of your questions will be answered on our FAQ page, but feel free to contact us for further clarification.

As we are an acoustic quartet, our sound radiates, so a position towards the centre of the banqueting hall, rather than in a corner, would be ideal to enhance your enjoyment of our music.

After Dinner Music

Many clients have asked us to play after dinner music in the past. This enables hosts to talk to their guests in a relaxed atmosphere, as well as providing a choice of ambiances if you also have a dance band of disco in another room.

For larger functions, the quartet can be expanded to chamber orchestra size, producing a sumptuous string sound for your entertainment. Contact us to discuss the options further.
